Our story goes like this...
In the beginning there was a dream. A dream that the quality of life of many individuals and societies can be significantly improved. Some fifteen years ago I started to believe that my country, Croatia, could one day become a place where knowledge, creative work, entrepreneurial spirit, integrity and social responsibility could be respected and promoted. I also started to believe that it is possible to create socially responsible leaders, leaders able to transform the existing economic, social and political trends for the better. I still entertain those dreams, but in the meantime, I have also started to work on bringing my dreams to reality. I devised a project, Transformation.hr, as the outcome of those beliefs. I wrote a book to provide a theoretical foundation for the project, available for download free of charge. Finally, I established the tourist agency Transformation adventures as the first company with which starts the next stage of the project Transformation.hr
Croatia is known for its well-preserved environment, beautiful beaches and the crystal-clear Adriatic Sea. It is also known for having something to offer when it comes to history and tradition. Having been involved in different extreme and adventure sports for my entire life, having worked for years in cyclotourism and being a history teacher, I speak with some authority when I say that Croatia has excellent potential in adventure and culture tourism. Having in mind recent trends and rising interest in adventure and culture tourism, I see a lot of possibilities for Croatia in these areas, and a way for our travel agency to seize some of these opportunities. Finally, having been totally delighted with the electric bike technology after I had tried it for the first time almost a decade ago, the focus of my tourist agency was actually easy to decide. Herein, therefore, lie the reasons why Transformation adventures specialize in electric bike tours, as well as cultural and historic tours.

Behind the scene
Meet Tomislav
Tomislav Bagatin is an avid mountain bike cyclist, nature and history enthusiast who is committed to sharing his passion for adventure with others. With extensive knowledge of the best local biking trails as well as Croatian history and culture, he is dedicated to ensuring that every customer has a fantastic experience exploring the wonders of the outdoors and Croatian heritage. As regards formal education, he holds several degrees in economics, management, history, philosophy and EU affairs. He is a self-published author of the book Transformation.hr in which he provided a theoretical foundations for the project that bears the same name, and of which Transformation Adventures is an integral part.
